The Dawn of Spring With You and ME

Like Taylor Swift says, “We can play truth, dare, and spin the bottle…” or listen to poetry playing while we make love like the pages that we read beneath the rumpled sheets. A poem for spring for all the tortured poets…

In the quiet dawn of spring, with you and me,
We lay entwined, in love's sweet reverie.
Beneath the whispering leaves of our shared dreams,
In each other's grasp, fiery passion teems.

As morning light filters through the window's lace,
We ache against one another in a tender embrace.
With soft sighs and gentle touches, we greet the day,
Creating a lover's poetry, feeling it in the way our bodies sway.

Beneath the rumpled sheets, where secrets lie,
We find a haven, where only you and I reside.
In this sanctuary of passion, where time stands still,
We find the sweetest peace, and our needs are fulfilled.

So let us linger in this moment, just us two,
In the glow of spring, where our yearning feels new.
With passion as our guide, where sunset hues prolong,
We'll cherish each moment, as springtime sings its song.
